Friday (Arrival)

People flying from their home state to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport:

1. Take the free Phoenix Sky Train from Terminal 3 or 4 to the 44th Street Phoenix Sky Train station.

2. Follow the walkway with moving sidewalks on level 2 to the elevator and escalator down to the Valley Metro Rail platform at 44th Street and Washington.

The valley metro operates from 4 AM to 2 AM on Fridays, 5 AM to 2 AM on Saturdays, 5 AM to 11 PM on Sundays, and Monday - Thursday from 4 AM to 12 AM.

Train arrives every 12-20 minutes.

3. Take the valley metro from 44th street and Washington to Van Buren and Central Ave

4. Once you exit the valley metro at Van Buren and Central Ave, you will see the Westin on the right across the street.

Take a left on Central Avenue and walk until you reach the second stop light.
You will see Civic Space Park and its famous sculpture, which is a desert cactus flower (AKA "Her Secret is Patience").

4. Cross the street towards Taylor Mall. You will see the University Center building (UCENT) on the right side and the Walter Cronkite building on your left side.

5. Continue walking until you reach the stop light ahead of you, and cross the street. In front of you will be a building called "Gordon Commons".

Enter the building to check-in your delegation.

Monday (Departure)

People flying from Phoenix Sky Harbor to their home state:

1. From Gordon Commons, cross the first street with the stop light, walk through Taylor mall, and cross the second street with the stop light.

2. Once you have crossed the second stop light, walk through Civic Space Park (with the structure in the sky)

and stop before crossing the next stop light (DO NOT CROSS THE STREET).

3. Do not cross the 3rd stop light. Instead, turn to your left and follow the side walk until you reach the light rail station. You are at the Van Buren and 1st Ave stop.

Purchase tickets for delegation at the ticket vending machine, and wait for the valley metro to arrive.

4. Enter the valley metro light rail once it arrives, and exit the valley metro once you arrive at 44th street and Washington. You will be able to enter the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport from there.
